‘30 Bays in 30 Days’ Sea Swimming Challenge

The National Trust for Jersey and Jersey Hospice Care are delighted to announce a unique sea-swimming fundraising initiative, called ‘30 bays in 30 Days’.
The clue to the challenge is in the title! Participants; individuals, families or groups, will aim to swim in 30 bays around the island in the month of July. The challenge will run between Sunday 1st July and Sunday 30th July 2017. Those taking part can choose to swim before work, lunchtimes, daytime, after work, before a picnic tea, by moonlight………..basically anytime they can fit a swim in!

You don’t need to be a strong swimmer; you only need to swim 30 strokes in each of the bays. Participants with mobility issues can also choose to swim in one bay, at the Havre des Pas bathing pool or the Jersey Marine Lake at West Park – whatever suits their needs. There will be organised swims to open and close the month long event, which will be open to everyone who registers. Between these events, you can decide where and when you swim to complete the challenge.

The cost for taking part is £12 per adult and £6 if under18, family registration is £30 (max of five - mix of adults and children) or £60 for a corporate / team of five.
